Ghiribizzi, brainchild of singer/songwriter Frank Centauri, saw daylight in June 2000. Together with Yves Simmah, they are the cores of Ghiribizzi.
Now already, demo-cd Zep Tepi, released in 2001, is a true collectors item.
In March 2005, Ghiribizzi entered Ace Studio (Belgium) to record their second album Pan’ta Rhei. This album became a well-known disc in the progressive rock scene in Belgium and beyond.
Pan’ta Rhei, produced by Frank Van Bogaert from Ace Studio and Ghiribizzi, was released in November 2005.
Ghiribizzi returned to Ace Studio in late 2008 (and also in 2009) to work further on their third album.
A release date is not known yet.
Different musicians teamed up Ghiribizzi thru the years to bring its divers music live on stage, accompanied with powerful entertainment.
Indeed, Ghiribizzi’s impressive sound and visible stage pleasure became one of their trademarks and still is.
Ghiribizzi stands for a huge amount of bombastic rock, strong compositions, great thrilling songs, layered vocals, multiplied guitars and is well suffused with a sauce, which consists of humour, tragedy and esoteric allusions.
F. Centauri decided to reform the band in January 2008 with new and former musicians capable to bring Ghiribizzi’s music back to the stages and to the studio, slightly in a different way.
Ghiribizzi is Gino Bartolini on drums, Laurens Gardeniers on rhythm/solo guitar, Kenny Meersman on rhythm guitar, Krid Yrus on bassguitar, Yves Simmah for keys/back.vocals and Frank Centauri for leadvocals/back.vocals/piano/keys.
